Mañana Cafe at South Congress Hotel
Mañana Café is a bright, modern coffee shop located inside the South Congress Hotel in Austin, Texas. The café is known for its minimalist interior, specialty coffee program, and house-made pastries, making it a favorite stop along South Congress Avenue.
I photographed this project for the Austin-based branding and design studio FÖDA, who created the visual identity and branding for the café. My focus was documenting the clean interior architecture, natural light, and thoughtful design details that define the space.
As an Austin commercial photographer, I regularly photograph restaurants, cafés, and hospitality spaces for designers, branding studios, and hospitality groups throughout Texas.

I spent a couple of days photographing the work of Emily Press of Emerald and Laurel for her portfolio. We used the branding session to capture a "day in the life" of Emily at work! Figure 8 Coffee Purveyors is one of East Austin’s most beloved independent coffee shops, founded by Ryan Hall and Kathleen Carmichael. Tucked into the heart of the East Austin neighborhood, this charming space quickly became a local institution and a personal favorite. I had the pleasure of photographing Figure 8 Coffee Purveyors for a commercial branding shoot that captures the warmth, craft, and community that make this coffee shop so special. From the intimate bar counter and beautifully poured latte art to the sun-drenched outdoor patio and the faces behind it all, these images tell the story of a place where East Austin comes to gather. Figure 8 Coffee Purveyors reflects the creative, independent spirit that defines the Austin coffee scene, and it was a joy to document through commercial photography.
