VOGUE × MINTED
Editorial and Still Life Photography with Olympian Gabby Thomas. Shot on location at the Commodore Perry Estate, Austin, Texas.
Vogue and Minted tapped me to shoot their collaboration with Olympic sprinter Gabby Thomas — and we did it the only way that made sense: at the Commodore Perry Estate in Austin, one of the most architecturally charged properties in Texas.
The brief was two worlds in one frame. On one side, Gabby — gold medalist, one of the fastest women alive — in a full bridal gown, moving through the estate's corridors and grounds the way she moves through everything: with complete authority. On the other, Minted's luxury wedding stationery, styled as still life against the estate's textures and light.
The contrast was the point. Speed and stillness. Power and paper. Editorial fashion and fine art product photography living in the same shoot, pulling from the same source — the kind of place that holds history in its walls and knows how to keep a secret.
I shot across editorial and advertising formats, building hero frames for Vogue alongside detail-driven still life for Minted's campaign needs. Every image was built to carry weight — on a magazine page, in a digital spread, or wherever the story landed next.
