STRANGER THINGS
Entertainment Set Photography and Architecture. Interiors and Exteriors by Sarah Natsumi Moore.
Netflix and Stranger Things brought the world of Hawkins, Indiana to life with Arrived — a full-scale immersive experience recreating the iconic sets of the show. I was brought in to document it all: the Byers house interiors, the Upside Down, and everything in between.
This project spanned architecture and interior photography across two distinct worlds. From the warm wood paneling of Joyce Byers' living room — alphabet wall, Christmas lights, and all — to the vine-covered corridors and blood-red glow of the Upside Down, every frame was built to capture the production design in full detail.
Shot across horizontal and vertical formats to serve editorial, press, and digital use, with equal attention given to hero wide shots, atmospheric details, and the exterior of the Byers house property from dusk through aerial.
